Monday, April 23, 2007 Tubing at Loyd Park

This weekend Craig & I decided to go tent camping for 1 night locally here in Dallas. We went to Cedar Hill State Park & they were so full that we could not get a site. I couldn't believe it. I've never seen the park filled to capacity. They have 350+ sites & is one of the larger state parks in Texas. Anyway, after we were turned away there we went to a city run campground, Loyd Park, which was very nice... except for the people staying there. The campers were so loud, blaring their music & riding motorcycles thru the park, even after 11pm, which wouldn't be tolerated in a state park. This one group of teenager was blaring speed metal & screaming until at least 1am. And then there were these 3 teen koozes that kept walking right thru our campsite over & over. I think were trying to be cute & flirtatious, but all I know is that they should've kept their snooches out of my campsite & leave us older queens alone. We're old enough to be their dads & certainly not interested in the least. Maybe they should've flaunted their juvenile wares to the speed metal guys down the way, they may have gotten a better response, or maybe even an STD. Nothing against women, but I can't stand girls that act all cute & obnoxious to get attention, thinking that they have a "Super-Clitastic-Magi-Vag" that attracts all men.

We did enjoy a great time on the lake though. We spent several hours boating around & pulling eachother around on a tube. I also tried wakeboarding for the first time. That didn't work out so well. I couldn't ever stand up & just ened up being dragged face first through the water with a plank strapped to my feet. Oh well, I'll have to try that again soon, after doing a little reading on the subject.

Here's a some pics of us on the tube:
