Friday, April 10, 2009 I'm Having An Old Friend For Dinner....

I love the Showtime program Dexter. Intelligent show about a serial killer..... raised by a cop after his mom was chainsawed apart in front of him in a cargo hold.... And who learns a code from his police father-in-law : TO ONLY KILL SERIAL KILLERS.  All that & the day to day dramatazations and weirdness makes for a good season.

I so want this Dexter dinnerware. It's expensive as hell though. Check out the other Dexter home decor here: DEXTER

Thursday, February 19, 2009 His Name Was Jason.. And Today Is His Birthday...

This is the most awesome cake! I would totally love one for my birthday.

Master cake designers Antoni and Edward Frys of European Cake Gallery in Crowley, Texas share this photo a 'Friday the 13th' cake they made this past week. Some details... The face is made of sugar paste. The clothing is tinted and airbrushed fondant. And the cake itself is chocolate with vanilla icing.
